TINA BESTER
Tina lives in Cape Town and is known for having lazy lunches on her once used tennis court.
Tina studied Graphic Design at Stellenbosch and for thirteen years worked for various magazines such as Fair Lady and Cosmopolitan, as a designer and stylist before opening her fabulous quirky café Queen of Tarts in 2006.
Tina has created 4 books: 'Bake' was the first, a collection of recipes from Queen of Tarts. 'Comfort', the second book is described as "full of recipes that offer the culinary equivalent of a loving hug". The third book, 'Fun in The Kitchen' aims to get children into the kitchen and to inspire a lifelong love of food and interesting flavours. 'Celebrate' is the latest book, and is all about entertaining your friends and family.
